LUSH
Skincare products shouldn’t last forever. At Lush, every product is made of fresh and natural ingredients, which means… they die. When your products live longer than you, something’s wrong. Fresh is a philosophy we live (and die) by, and to celebrate this idea we’re taking fresh to a whole new level.
BORN TO DIE.
LUSH APP
The Lush app updates are designed to help you navigate the Lush Lifeline. You’ll receive reminders when a product you purchased is close to expiring, a bucket list of uses for your Lush product, and a feature that allows customers to bring back products from the dead, aka: vote back items that have sold out.
DYING BILLBOARD
The products in the Lush Lifeline are all born to die, and so is this billboard. With a countdown clock, you can watch this OOH placement slowly pass away from vines, mold, dirt, and some good ole’ wear and tear.
EXPIRATION STICKER
Lush pots are known for their expiration stickers that put a face to the person that made the product. Keeping that expiration sticker, we put a twist on it so it slowly turns into a skeleton as the product expires.
LUSH LIFE LINE ON SOCIAL
Increasing awareness to the Lush Lifeline, the Lush Instagram will have dancing skeletons, product posts, and a sneak peak at the messages you can find at the bottom of your Lush pots.
LUSH GREENHOUSE
The Lush Greenhouse will allow customers to (literally) hand pick ingredients and make any product a part of the Lush Lifeline. Only found at farmer’s markets in New York City, customers will get to see their products come to life right in front of their eyes.
LIGHT FOR YOUR LOST LUSH
Candles are a burning example of the celebration of life and death.
As an extension of our Life Line, we create a line of all natural candles each smelling like your favorite Lush products. The label of each candle is made out of seed paper which can be planted in the vessel once the candle has burned all the way through.
The candle is gone, but the plant lives on.
